| "Would you rather sit on the bench and wait, or play on the court and have fun?" Personal InformationName: Daichi, "Can", Tetsurō Alias: → Brain of the Battlefield → Can Age: 23 Gender: Male Village: Kumogakure no Sato Village Rank: ANBU Captain Skill Rank: S Appearance InformationHeight: 6'3 Weight: 157 lbs Style: Daichi doesn't have a specific style, however his hair is always a mess. Supposedly, it's his bedhead hair that can be ridden of, so he keeps it as is. Like, isn't that hair fabulous? He also tends to stand out in his casual clothing, since no one seems to wear a clothing like him. Looks Image: - Spoiler:
Looks Description: Daichi's clothing is assembled of a black t-shirt, with his outer red sweater to match it. Daichi wears his head protector on his arm, where it's rarely ever seen. This is to protect him from people knowing where what village he descends from. He'd rather not take the risk of being assassinated by being known from what village he was from. Instead, he stuck with casual wear, like his t-shirt and sweater, accompanied by his black shorts and ninja sandals. Despite having a different attire from many of the other shinobi in all the villages, he's remembered really easily when he's just wearing that usual clothing. When he's accompanied by his Anbu armor and mask, he's less recognizable. Well, that was his clothing, moving on to his physical appearance. Daichi stands at a tall six foot three inches, weighing a nice 157 pounds. The Anbu's skin is a pale peach colour, and no matter how much time he's out in the sunlight, he can barely get tanned. His eyes are a piercing grayish-white which is rare, matching with his pale skin. Although he's special like that, he often scares people off, since he can give off quite a scary, deceiving look when he's serious. But, as you can tell from the picture at the very top, he can also seem kind of lazy and innocent. Given his tall height, he is also very skinny, but not skinny to the fact where you can't stand looking at him because he seems like all bone. Although that's how it appears, inside, he is quite buff and had a lot more strength than how he appears. Don't judge a book by it's cover right? His hair is always a mess, no matter how many times he could attempt to fix it, it never stays. This is supposedly because it's his bedhead hair, where he could never return it back to it's 'original' state. Even though that's how it seems now, like it'll never change, Daichi finds it quite interesting, because it adds to his intimidating looks. Now given the intimidating aurora around him, it also seems that no one ever senses his presence. Whether it's obvious or not, it seems like he's a ghost. It's most likely due to the fact he is pretty quiet person, who doesn't talk very often. Personality InformationLikes: - He loves to relax and take breaks, even though he takes his duties extremely serious... Even to the max. Maybe that's why he likes to relax and take breaks when he opportunities; because he works hard. - Daichi never liked people who were dumb, or even simply ignorant. If you were worthless, you had nothing to work for, nothing to live for, Daichi would have the urge to murder you on the spot- he'd enjoy it. - For some reason, he loves BBQ Pork Buns, he just enjoys the taste. - He wants a girlfriend that will care for him, therefore he likes the idea of it Dislikes: - Daichi seems to like a girlfriend, however hates certain types of women or young girls. Maybe it's because of their lack of knowledge of what he does for the village, but either way, certain personalities of them just don't go together. - Daichi hates the fact how people can tend to be so ignorant or annoying, and not understand what they were trying to do. Sit back and do nothing, right? - Alcohol's taste is just something he hates, and therefore he never drinks, whether someone treats him to it or not. Goals: Be appreciated by whoever he is with. Personality Description: Daichi grew up in a large household, so the history practically gives you the sense that he was a sociable boy, however that's incorrect. Daichi is quiet, he doesn't like to talk much unless it was sincerely necessary for him to speak. Mainly, the only time he talks are during significant meetings, or explaining his plans for missions. His unusual quiet side is always weird, because he has quite a freaky look on his face, due to his eyes. Yeah, so he's quiet, this makes him also very calm and chill. Rarely would you see Daichi freaking out, or worrying for something. He always has plans for backups, and knows what to do most of the time during the situation he'd currently be in. Along with his calm, quiet side, he got a lot of his intelligence from his father, and even surpassed that. He'd know the next move, he could analyze and adapt to his environment majority of the time, which always threw his opponents off. He was the strategist, the brains of the battlefield. Everyone relied of him, and trusted him with everything. He was a trustworthy, loyal and confident man. He then got his caring and kind side from his mother. There's this weird thing with the Tetsurō. He has a tendency of hating females, but he seeks after a lover that would genuinely take care of him. Since he was quite lonely after his parents death, with his brothers moving on, he wanted someone to help him when he needed the support. Although to this day he doesn't exactly know why he hates women/girls, he just lives on life like anyone else would. Deadly. Yes, Daichi is deadly. He's a violent man under his own skin, and he barely knew of it himself. He's seen things at a age where it shouldn't been seen. He's been on missions that nearly killed him, having him result to full strength, becoming merciless. Daichi is one special guy, being completely different from the rest of the shinobi in the village. Nindo: "There isn't anything in this world I appreciate more than the fact that I'm living. I will make the most out of my life, more than what you're living yourself. That's my ninja way." Character Role: Daichi Tetsurō plans to be the savior of the village, whether it be protecting them from attacks, or helping those in real need. Combat InformationBloodline: Storm Release Elements: Primary / KKG - StormSecondary - RaitonTertiary - SuitonSpecialties:- Ninjutsu | Mastery - Kenjutsu | Adept - Sensory | Adept - Taijutsu | Adept - Genjutsu | Basic Combat Style: Daichi can be a very... interesting person when it comes to hand in hand combat. He would always analyze his opponent, see how he would react to attack, what his style is and etc. That would be his usual way of battle, he'd always use logical explanations and ways to take on a battle, unlike others who may just charge and attack. Ever since that type of way he comes with combat, he has a clear 4 step process. Analyze, avoid, adjust and attack. That's the 4 step process that Daichi goes through in his mind and during action. Analyze/assess the situation that's happening, avoid any attack or anything that would mess with his process, adjust to any differences or changes of his environment or his foe, and attack once he has created with a official conclusion of his opponent. At other times, he can ignore that process and go on how he'd enjoy to fight. Whether it's straight up recklessness, or stay back and staying stealthy, he has different preferences time to time. Background InformationClan: N/A Birthday: May 17 History:- BIRTH -- Spoiler:
A dark gloomy day, full of rain and lightning in Kumogakure, the Land of Lightning. Thunder heard in the near distance. The boy was born to a large family, even though it didn't really last for long. Through genetics, many of his siblings had died at a young age, while only 3 survived. That meant he had two brothers, and himself. Daichi grew up being the fifth child of the family, with his two brothers ahead of him being the fourth and second. His second born brother was Koichi Tetsurō, and the brother that was two years ahead of him (fourth child) was Yukio Tetsurō. His father and mother were a busy couple, as his father, Sanada Tetsurō worked for intelligence division of the village, while his mother worked for the medical division, while handling the three kids at the same time.
It was always busy in the household, there was no such thing as free time for them. Daichi, Yukio and Koichi were taught basic fighting techniques from their parents, but were never anything difficult or technical. Sanada was a extremely smart dad, and so his genetics were mainly transferred into Daichi, over the other two sons. Daichi was too smart, smarter than his two brothers, however he still lacked the experience of being a "shinobi" at such a young age. Since Yukio was 2 years older than him, and Koichi was 4 years older than him, they were enrolled into the Academy way before him, leaving Daichi home alone most of the time. This lead to him being an extremely quiet child, exposed to this type of a lifestyle. - ACADEMY -- Spoiler:
After a few years, Daichi finally moved on into the Academy, but on that same year, Koichi graduated at the age of 10, where Yukio had one more year left in the school. Of course, Daichi was quite jealous of his brothers, but this only lead him to strive for larger goals. It was always a competition between the three brothers, hell, you could consider them the best of friends, since they were so close before. Daichi was the youngest of the few ninja in his class, where everyone was around seven, but Daichi was six. His parents couldn't handle too much stress, so they had to let him enter the Academy earlier than the usual. Of course, this was not a issue, but Daichi would constantly be picked on for being the youngest.
The picking of Daichi eventually became dreaded. Why? He was the smartest, he picked up techniques and concepts much more swifter than the rest of his class. That's when everyone became much more jealous of him, even the teachers were surprised. The Tetsurō household was commonly known for having smart children, but not at smart as Daichi was. Teachers were delighted in having such a strong individual, however, he was a target. Everyone would always ask him for help, but Daichi could only shrug it off and say it was natural to him.
Eventually, everyone became much more open with him by the end of his Academy years, where he graduated at nine years of age. He was finally becoming a stronger ninja day by day. In the Academy, they taught you the most basic of ninja techniques with kunai, shuriken and ninjutsu. He spent 3 whole years training, and he finally made it to the rank of Genin. His two year older brother, Yukio, graduated one year earlier than him. - GENIN AGES -- Spoiler:
From the beginning of his life to where he was headed, Daichi improved himself. He wasn't directly assigned any missions for the first while after his graduation from the Academy, so he had time to himself. Unlike his brothers, he was bored and had nothing to do. His brothers would be able to go on missions that was much more exhilarating than what Daichi would be doing at home. Time to time, he'd just help out local neighbours and attend some meetings about getting assigned into a team. But on his own time, he'd constantly train and improve his techniques, whether it was strength wise, or the execution of the jutsu.
About a few months later, he was assigned to a team with a strong foundation, balanced between all of their own abilities. Their sensei was a master with Kenjutsu and Ninjutsu, something Daichi found interested in, considering not many shinobi were masters in Kenjutsu at that time. That's when he decided to ask his sensei to teach him Kenjutsu, to become his second specialty after Ninjutsu. Of course, the training was much more deadly and tiring, but Daichi persevered till the very end, where he would be satisfied with his accomplishments.
Being on a team had their pro's and con's. There were several responsibilities you had to take in. Training, being responsible, loyal, trustworthy, confident. Everything was a package, and everyone had to be on their best behaviours. Daichi and his team, Team 2, was sent on several missions, much more alarming and strange. Missions that weren't usually exposed to Genin. These missions made Daichi much less kinder, but more violent and merciless for certain humans. This applied for people that were strangers, or opponents, not his friends or family. He was still his quiet self with his family and friends.
Terrifying, the Chunin Exams. Every Genin dreamed of moving past the low ranks and moving onto the high, and that meant progressing past the Genin ages and becoming a Chunin. In all respect, Daichi thought of this too. He'd gone through rigorous training with his brothers, and his sensei, and knew he had everything ,and could do anything he was capable to become a Chunin. So, when the Chunin exams passed by town, it was time for himself to shine.
Written exams? Simple, passed with flying colours. This was no doubt considering his bold amount of knowledge. Surviving in the wild? Much more difficult than Daichi thought, but he successfully made through it. And finally, the competition. This was the most dreaded, however his intelligence became his own weapon, as he analyzed all his opponents, capable of finding their weak spots of being a ninja, and striking at those certain places. - CHUNIN BEGINNINGS -- Spoiler:
By the time Daichi made it through the Chunin Exams and becoming a full-fledged Chunin of the village of Kumogakure no Sato, his parents were going to pass away, while his brothers were moving out of the house. Daichi was only at the age of 12. Everything in his family was practically falling apart, but his brothers were still there to support Daichi fully. His siblings surpassed him a long time ago, so he strived to improve himself, and perfect his skills even further than his current capabilities. It was a dangerous gamble, but Daichi would do anything to protect his family and friends, whether it'd be risking his life or not.
At 2 years after his Chunin promotion, at age 14, his parents passed away due to the normal illnesses. That was no surprise considering his parents were old, but it was sad because Daichi never really got to hang out with his parents that often. His parents were always busy with their parts of working under the village. They weren't the closest of family, but deep down, he knew that his parents were happy for him, and that Daichi was proud that his parents successfully had great children. This led Daichi to learn to live alone and take care of himself as a individual, since his parents and brothers weren't there to guard him for anything. Yukio and Koichi often visited Daichi once each week, which made him perfectly happy!
At this point, Daichi was sent out on extremely dangerous and serious missions that weren't average of his skill level. One time it was an assassination assignment for their team, but because of it, he nearly died risking his life for his sensei. Daichi took some major injuries while heading back home, but he survived, and now healthy as he ever was. In the end, it was all worth it because he became a Jounin, since his behaviour and skills was higher than the average Chunin overall. - UNENTHUSIASTIC JOUNIN -- Spoiler:
The first few days after the event was quite odd, as Daichi was happy about it, but he wasn't extremely enthusiastic. This meant he had to branch out from his team, since he was the only one that really got promoted. He tried to convince his superiors, but it didn't work, as the clearly explained that they weren't at that point in their life yet, ready for such a change. Apparently, he was ready for it, but Daichi personally wouldn't know if he was or not.
The fellow had to take on even more difficult tasks, while training intensely to improve his skills. During this time, he felt very lonely. He wanted someone to care for him, since his brothers weren't around too often, it changed from visits from once a week to twice a month. Everyone was leaving him slowly, where he felt excluded from everything. He wanted a girlfriend. Yeah, that's right. He wanted some sort of relationship even though he practically hated a lot of girls at a younger age. He wanted to find the right person.
Of course, throughout the Jounin stages, you are assigned a team to work with. Your role was to be their role model, teacher and so on. This wasn't that hard for him, but he ended up with not a very good team. He was assigned with a ninjutsu user, genjutsu user, and of course, the medical one. Granting him the opportunity of teaching the kids, it was a disaster all around. They didn't know how to get along, hell, they couldn't even talk to each other properly without some sort of attitude in their voice. The development was slow, and Daichi hated ignorant, dumb people, so this only made the experience worst.
Eventually, Daichi sent them back to study in the Academy. If teamwork was an issue and couldn't be fixed with his own skills, how in the world were they suppose to be a actual ninja? It was absurd, and in no way would he deal with the children any further. Thankfully, there was a special surprise that was in store for him later on. - ANBU/ANBU CAPTAIN STAGE -- Spoiler:
No one was at the same level of Daichi when it came technique wise. He was strong and smart, which made him the perfect image of being in the Black Ops. At first, Daichi had second thoughts, but decided this would just make him more experienced. He'd be more wise on all the parts and ranks in the village, where he would be able to handle anything.
By this point, he was training as a general Anbu member, but the Kage at the time thought he had much more potential than just being a Anbu member. They pushed the idea aside during a meeting, and promoted Daichi to Anbu Captain. Through all the respect he had given, he wasn't sure about such a promotion. Yes, he was happy and honored, but it was much more responsibility, and work that Daichi wasn't sure whether he could handle or not. This meant he needed a whole lot of leadership skills.
No worry, he developed great skills. Typically, it would've took him a few days, but this took him forever to get use to.
